This course was taught in
Spring 2010 and will be taught again in Spring
2012.

This
course prepares students to work with diverse groups of
people, with diversity defined according to ethnicity,
race, sexual orientation, and other differences that
affect people’s behavior and values. Students will
develop skills for culturally competent human service
work by means of self-examination, critical reading of
course material, and class exercises and discussions.
